10 gram package. Approximately 10 mm each.
These cheerful opaque yellow antique beads have a superpower: they glow bright orange under uv light (black light)! And they are gorgeous under regular light, too.
The two commonly used frequencies of black lights are 395nm (most common) and 365nm. While these particular beads are a gorgeous orange under 395nm (picture #3), they're super bright under 365nm (picture #4). Win-win! Note that the reactivity is uneven as in the photos.
In the early 20th century, these rare beads were painstakingly hand manufactured by master craftsmen in the fabled Societa Veneziana Conterie glass factories of Murano, Italy. The slight irregularities in size and shape are an expected and natural result of the production process, which is a lost art.
Nothing shown in the photos other than the beads is included in your purchase.
