20x4mm Greasy avocado green antique tubes bugles Murano glass seed beads vintage Italian

You will be receiving approximately 100 beads (over 170 grams) of these lovely greasy avocado green tube beads. They have an amazing depth of color. The average length of the beads is 20mm, but as you can see in the photo, there is a fair amount of variation in these very old beads.

In the early 20th century, these rare beads were painstakingly hand manufactured by master craftsmen in the fabled Societa Veneziana Conterie glass factories of Murano, Italy. The slight irregularities in size and shape are an expected and natural result of the production process, which is a lost art.
